This photograph is actually the result of two pictures combined, turned black & white, and then partially colorized.  Rather than go into great detail about how I did it, just look at the pictures below.  Special thanks to Dick Locke for allowing me to use his awesome image.  I think even Dick would agree that lightning never looked so good!
